Our group is made up of Josh Drake, Martha Williams and George English and our magazine is called Rhythm Nation. It is a magazine aimed at teenagers of the indie, sort of festival like, party going variety. We have came up with a couple of douple page spread ideas for our first issue of Rhythm Nation and have had a lot of good ideas so far and are taking the best of each persons ideas to create the best of our abilities. We have a few article ideas to repeat throughout the issues which will cut down on time needed to plan for the 2nd and 3rd issues and also give a feeling of consistancy throughout the issues.
We have also started drawing up a questionaire to post around facebook to gain insight into what people our age like about music magazines, which there favourites and why. This is because our target audience is towards people our age so they are who we are advertising too. We plan to do this with a party like style for the magazine, similar to the popular television series skins was advertised in respect of the colours, fonts and layouts. Our magainze will be amazing.
