Josh's Finished magazine advert
I used this advert as the best laid out one, but I found the effects on the text detracted from the image. This was damaging to the aim of my advert focusing on the empty space that the band should be in
So I used this image (2nd image down), with this effect, and then put the text on top
I then added lighting effects onto the image to make it look even more professional, this makes the image look as if it was of a real band performance or practice, but the band haven't turned up. This is the perfect image for what I aimed to achieve. The use of a spot light on an empty space is a connotation of stage fright, so using this symbol, it is easy for the audience to make the assumption that the band have got stage fright. I also inverted the text and logo at the top of the image so they were still visible.

Josh's Magazine Advert
I have evperimented with a couple of new ideas for the magazine advert. I have used photoshop to add a make the picture look less like a photo and more like an advert.
I like these pictures but I don't think the font should be altered by the filter as well so I will re try these ideas, instead putting the text on after the photo.
