Joshua Drake - My DigiPak
I have used the theme of stage fright and cutting the characters out throughout my DigiPak keeping the theme constant. I chose to use the same image on the back of the DigiPak as on the poster to create instant recognition in the audience. The middle of the DigiPak represents the idea of a photo album, presenting memories, but the people are absent to show the troubled relationship, relating to the narrative side of the music video.
The back image should be the spotlight image, but I can't seem to find it!

Joshua Drake - My Finished Advert
This is my finished advert. I have tried various camera angles, and think this one works the best. I have also use various effects to make my image look professional and display the concept of stage fright, all this work has paid off as I think my advert is successful as it adheres to the codes and conventions of the genre and generates interest in the audience. It also links in with the other two texts I have created, meaning the group work as a package.

Josh's Finished magazine advert
I used this advert as the best laid out one, but I found the effects on the text detracted from the image. This was damaging to the aim of my advert focusing on the empty space that the band should be in
So I used this image (2nd image down), with this effect, and then put the text on top
I then added lighting effects onto the image to make it look even more professional, this makes the image look as if it was of a real band performance or practice, but the band haven't turned up. This is the perfect image for what I aimed to achieve. The use of a spot light on an empty space is a connotation of stage fright, so using this symbol, it is easy for the audience to make the assumption that the band have got stage fright. I also inverted the text and logo at the top of the image so they were still visible.
